Prankster to pay $73K for kicking random woman

A prankster will pay $73,000 to an unsuspecting woman he kung-fukicked from behind and left in agony with serious injuries.


Disturbing footage shows Garcia Montealegre counting down onhis fingers to the camera before taking out a woman in the DiagonalMar area of Barcelona, Spain.


As his victim and her friend stand with their backs to him in thestreet, the 24-year-old Montealegre sharply kicks hisvictim』s left calf.


The brutal assault forces the woman to twist awkwardly as shefalls backward to the ground.


Reacting to shrieks of laughter from the filmmaker and friends, sheshouts back: 「A–hole!」


The attack left the 48-year-old victim with a sprained ankle andminor injuries to her left knee and wrist.


The unnamed victim also suffered cervical pain that meant she wasunable to work for 75 days.


Catalan police were determined to catch the prankster, releasingfootage of the video with the message: 「Help us to catch thisperson who thinks it is okay to attack innocent people.」


After the video from the attack in February 2015 went viral, ashame-faced Garcia Montealegre eventually turned himself in at hislocal police station.


He has been ordered to pay $55,000 in damages butvolunteered to pay $73,000 to show how sorry he was.
